FLORENCE EXCLUSIVE TOUR - "The old Florentine Court life, between luxury and Masterpieces"
Our walking tour starts in Pitti Square, with a brief introduction of this important Palace (residence of Grand Duke of Tuscany and the King of Italy); inside there are many museums with famous collections of paintings, sculptures, porcelains, dresses, carriages etc... . One of these museums is the "Palatina Gallery", at the noble floor of the building, created during the XVIII century with a part of the Medici's collections: Raffaello, Leonardo, Tiziano and Caravaggio's Masterpieces. DANTE'S MEDIEVAL TOUR
During the XIII-XIV centuries, Florence lived a period of great prosperity, turning into the economical, plitical and cultural centre of Tuscany. Thanks to this tour you'll discover many aspects of the city in this period among the narrow streets, towers and Romanesque-Gothic buildings, seen also by the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri (1265), the "father of Italian Language" (famous for his "Divine Commedy") who lived here dealing with the Florentine political life.
